Our Adventure
Founded by Trenna Reid, a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist, Teacher and Inspirational Speaker
What started Trenna’s reflexology journey in 2012, Getting her certification and growing a practice in a clinical setting with Discover Reflexology. Trenna then set out to continue learning how to help others and specialized in mental health in addition to an interest in autoimmune diseases brought on by a case study with a stroke survivor with two autoimmune diseases that created a puzzle of sorts.
Each person has their own individual adventure that they are on and no two are the same. Everyone's path has bumps, ruts, puddles and sometimes what seems like a mountain in the way, it's never straight, nor easy. We walk a crooked path.
Continuing her education in reflexology modalities, techniques, meridians, acupressure charts and a diploma in human nutrition, she combines her knowledge in her treatments to create the best possible balance for her clients. At times suggesting you help her, help you, by providing homework to take home to get you feeling better faster.
With that, Trenna alleviates symptoms using reflexology and nutrition. Informing you about what to expect during and after sessions. Changing things up while working with other therapies and western medicine for a complete health care regime.
With the closure of Discover Reflexology's clinic, Trenna reflected on what she wanted and decided she wanted to continue with reflexology, but to include more nutrition, more speaking, and more teaching, To inspire those that are maneuvering their “crooked” path.
“My favourite part about Reflexology is seeing the progress of my clients; listening to their needs, and helping them get the results they are looking for.”
— Trenna Reid, founder of Discover Reflexology, founder of Crooked Path
With success with my own family, I decided Reflexology should be more readily available and that more public awareness was needed regarding Reflexology and its benefits. Your first-time session with me will be unique because I take the time to get to know you and your feet. Addressing health concerns and discussing what the expectations are. This includes: discussing health history - past or current concerns, consultation on the benefits of Reflexology, personal foot assessment, complete one hour Reflexology session, and a plan of action to outline the steps necessary to begin your path to better health.
I am currently working out of Massage Addict on Regent Avenue in the North East part of Winnipeg and offering mobile services on a referral basis only at this time.
I look forward to seeing you and your loved ones soon.
